June 16th, 2016 Florence, Italy – Ceremony of donation of a bronze sculpture by the sculptor Stepan Mokrousov to Museo Casa di Dante, organized by The Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco, an event day dedicated to Ekaterina Yurevna Genieva’s memory, General Director of the Library for Foreign Literature of Moscow and Chairman board of the Open Society Institute – Russia (SOROS Foundation)

Ekaterina’s contribution to the promotion of the mutual understanding and dialogue between cultures has been widespread and intense and the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation in Florence got the privilege of collaborating with her for a long time. Therefore the Fondazione, with the collaboration of Centro Congressi al Duomo, has decided to dedicate to her name and memory the renaissance courtyard of Palazzo Coppini – the Foundation’s headquarters in Florence. Representatives of Italian, Russian and international authorities, friends and collaborators will be invited to participate.

Round Table dedicated to intercultural dialogue and the work of  Ekaterina Y. Genieva. Donation of “Viestnik Evropy” to the  Gabinetto Scientifico Letterario G.P. Vieusseux by the Yegor Gaidar Foundation of Moscow (where  Ekaterina Y. Genieva  was counselor and initiate the re-printing of the magazine).
