Walking through the streets of the Great Town (Inferno, canto XXIII), you will learn the history of the masterpiece that laid the foundations for the Italian language. Throughout the Comedy, Dante uses words and expressions that are new for his time and that Italians still use to this day, mostly ignoring their “noble” origin. During our walk you will discover those expressions along with many corners of Florence, as well as some of the historical figures from Dante’s time that are mentioned throughout the pages of this literary masterpiece.
