DANTE ALIGHIERI

Dante Alighieri was born in Florence in 1265, just in the site where the Museo Casa di Dante stays. Poet, writer, and politician is considered the father of the Italian language and is the author of The Divine Comedy, one of the greatest masterpieces of world literature.
